Privacy Policy

Plain English: what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to opt out. You can read every school page on this site without telling us anything about yourself. Effective 22 October 2026.

Who we are

LawSchoolRequirements.com is operated by Digital Signet Limited, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Digital Signet Limited is the data controller for this site. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

This site has no accounts, no logins and no application forms. We are not a law school, LSAC or a test-prep company, so there is nothing to apply for here. The data we process comes from three sources.

Aggregate analytics. Google Analytics 4 records your visit (page viewed, referring page, device type, approximate location by country or region, and a pseudonymous identifier) so we can see which pages are useful. IP addresses are anonymised.

Advertising cookies. On pages that show an ad, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or read advertising identifiers in order to select and measure those ads. See the next section.

Questions you send us. The "ask about the requirements" links open your own email program addressed to [email protected]. Nothing is collected on the site itself. If you email us, we hold your message and address only for as long as it takes to answer and to keep a record of the correspondence.

Advertising, and your choices

This site is free to read. It carries display advertising served by Google AdSense (Google LLC). Google and its advertising partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits ("interest-based advertising"). You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The sellers authorised to sell this site's ad space are listed in its ads.txt file. Ads never influence any figure on this site; every school's data comes from its published ABA 509 report.

US visitors. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), and under similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states, interest-based advertising can count as a "sale" or "share" of personal information even though no money changes hands for your data. You can opt out by turning on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, at Google Ads Settings, at optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org, or by emailing [email protected]. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

UK and EU visitors. Google and its advertising partners rely on your consent, collected through Google's consent message (the banner shown on your first visit). You can change or withdraw consent at any time through that banner, or by clearing this site's cookies.

Providers and transfers

A small number of providers process data on our behalf: GitHub and Cloudflare (hosting, DNS and security), Google Analytics (aggregate site statistics) and Google AdSense (advertising). We are a UK controller serving a largely US readership, so those providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where UK or EU data protection law applies to a transfer, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy arrangements or standard contractual clauses.

Retention and your rights

We hold no personal data of our own beyond any email you choose to send us. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then aggregated or deleted. Advertising cookies set by Google and its partners follow their own retention schedules.

Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, to stop it being sold or shared for targeted advertising, or to withdraw consent you previously gave. Email [email protected] and we will act within one month (45 days for CCPA requests). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk; in the EU, to your local supervisory authority.

Children and changes

This site is written for prospective law school applicants. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.

Reader questions

A requirement the 509 data does not settle?

Admissions pages bury the details that decide an application: how a school treats a second LSAT sitting, whether a GRE score is genuinely accepted, what a fee waiver actually covers, which deadline applies to a transfer. Put the question in an email and name the school you are asking about.

Every message is read by a person. Answers say where the figure came from, normally the school's own 509 report or the admissions page it publishes. If the question would help other applicants we may publish an anonymised version of it, and we ask you before we do.

This is a reference site. It is not admissions consulting and it is not legal advice. Figures here come from ABA Standard 509 disclosures, and each school's own published requirements are the authority on what it will accept from you.
